What could be a good P.A, held together by flimsy plastic

The A and B tops on this system are held together by very thin bits of plastic that quite easily snap off. I have two of these, one of which handles well and comes apart easily, the other one was extremely stiff, and on about the 10th attempt to disassemble the tops the plastic had had enough and decided to snap. Just because of this simple design flaw of them being too tight and yet held together by tiny plastic clips, I can't use the P.A. anymore.

I thought this would be an easy warranty fix but sadly after a week of waiting for their verdict, Thomann didn't offer to fix them, and literally offered no alternative, even though I mentioned that I need the speakers for a gig soon.

Not good enough service.
