Deering Goodtime Banjo

I looked for a good banjo as I?m learning and decided (after reading many other reviews on other sites) that this looked good. Well packaged and arrived almost ready to play. Slight tuning and away I went into bluegrass mode. Great sounds, which get better as the strings wear in.
Very glad I chose this banjo now

An unassuming instrument built to high standards, delightful to play and listen to. Not in the least gaudy or flashy, but looks great anyway. I'm really enjoying mine and would certainly recommend it to anyone else.

I've bought this banjo after a couple years of playing as a self-taught, and I couldn't have been more satisfied with the purchase.
The design is exquisite, it is extremely light and manageable, it maintains tuning very well and it's overall a pleasure to play.
I couldn't recommend this model more, I will definitely buy a more elaborate model from Deering, but this is perfect if you are a beginner but do not want to sacrifice the quality of sound.

Great tuning pegs (always stays in tune).
Great sound and a good price for such quality.
