Denis Wick 5182 American 3C Trumpet

I am using a JP 1 1/2 C with which I get a great tone, but find stamina for the higher notes a problem. This mouthpiece is a bit brighter as expected, so the higher notes are easier, but although only a week or two of playing on it, I do find it difficult to hit the correct note quickly and I cannot play without thinking as before. Always wondering if I am going to hit a particular note. Perhaps practice over a much longer period will make it come good, but for me it is not an instant love. Well made though and others may take to it instantly.
