DiMarzio Crunch Lab DP228 BK review
Anonymous 13.07.2014
I bought the DiMarzio Crunch Lab in conjunction with the DiMarzio Liquifire for my Ibanez RGR321EX. The Crunch Lab is very clear sounding and punchy. It is especially great for tight rhythms and leads. However it doesn't end there as it is generally great for any musical genre. I play anything from jazz to death metal and so far this pickup has worked extremely well in all circumstances. The installation process was a breeze as the manual that came with the pickup was very clear. I have had this pickup for roughly 3 months now and I really wish I had bought it much earlier than I did as it is worth every penny and more. If it were stolen (along with the guitar that holds it) I would save up and get the same set again.

Goo quality and high level of output
louisdeslee 28.02.2017
I wanted a pair of humbuckers to replace the pickups of my PRS se custom 24.
I heard a lot of good about DiMarzio CrunchLab and LiquidFire so I've decided to try them.
Result is : the output level is very high, witch could be good or bad, depending on what you want.
I've configured the electronic the have those pickups splitable, witch turns out to be a good choice and makes my PRS highly polyvalent.
To my mind, we have here a pair very good humbuckers, high quality, but more designed for metal or hard rock.
As a Blues player and if I had to choose again, I think I would give a shot to The Seymour Duncan JB & 59 instead.

I installed a new DP228BK item for Ernie Ball Music Man which was used for 5 years... I dont know why the problem occured because I used my guitar with respect.
After installation: Great sound, fast play, immediate response, fast and easy installation. Wau! My recommendation anyway.

What guitar is this sensor for?
Z.M.G. 21.01.2019
He doesn't fit LesPaul, strings are outside of the magnets (bridge position).
On a clean sound, lacking high frequencies.
However, not everything is so bad.
There is a high level of output signal, good protection, several options for inclusion.
But alas, what guitar is not put, get the sound MM JP6/JP7 failed (I have MM JP7).
