Despite it's mainly a 4x LFO module it works nice in audio range. Compared to 143-4 it takes less space, but has no VC inputs. Nice tool for droning, and the lack of FM can be easily compensated with A-114 (and still takes less place and is cheaper solution). Unliked 143-4 it does not require 45min to fully stabilise, and the oscillators being completely separate chips do not lock. Recommended.
PS mind the sawtooth output has double the frequency of triangle and pulse.

Quad LFO from Doepfer is value for money
Jonathan64 11.09.2013
The Doepfer system now contains a number of quadruple modules which are not only compact and space-saving but also provide for the possibility of a simple polyphonic set-up using a quad MIDI interface (Doepfer's is due to be released any week now, but there are already others on the market). This module has 4 identical LFOs each of which generates 3 different LFO waves in three frequency ranges (from 2 cycles per minute to over 5KHz according to Doepfer), selected with toggle switches. It is straightforward to understand and use and cost-effective too, since it is almost equivalent to 4 A-145s and costs less than twice as much. I like it so much I have two!

Bang for your buck!

According to Doepter, not a very 'exciting' module. Well i love it ! Excellent build quality, feels very solid. You get 12 simultanious lfo outputs , very useful. As all Doepfer products it has amazing value for
your money. Of course there are no reset or CV inputs but some free running LFO's are always handy to liven up the sound. I have no regrets at all.
Looking forward trying more featured Doepfer LFO's!

My second module.
Anonymous 05.01.2017
Being new to the modular world I bought this at the same time as the Doepfer LC6 Rack, A-132-2 dual VCA and the A-110-1 VCO. I've found it incredibly useful right from the start to modulate the pulse width, the Wasp filter frequency and the VCA all at the same time at different rates and different amounts while sequencing the lot with a Dark Time.
Cannot recommend it highly enough. I know there's a mantra in the modular world regarding 'you can never have enough VCA's', I think there should be one LFO's as well. Might get the quad ADSR.....

Doepfer A-143-3
Timsolipsis 15.05.2013
A very simple and easy to configure LFO module,. shame there isnt a sine wave, but that dosent matter as doepfer do others with the sinewave too... could do with a reset trigger perhaps,. but i am being fussy. Its well worth the money and i would get more...
