I've tried almost every manouche set available and these are my favourite so far. Argentine have always felt hard and tense to me. I've tried d'addario, galli, optima and others but the Dogal stings feel and sound the best.

They have a low tension feel which lends itself to an easier playing experience on both hands. You don't have to fight to get the tone.

Yes, they are expensive but it's worth it.

I snapped a G while stretching in the strings - probably my fault to be honest.
