I bought two 4099 mics for the Hans Zimmer tour in early 2016. I also bought a mini goose neck to use with one of them. When I tried to remove the mic from the gooseneck the gooseneck just unravelled and fell to bits! I sent photos of this disaster to DPA and they just weren't interested...pity.
I guess they are for a permanent set up like a piano in a hotel where they are always left in place, untouched. A pity because I thought that this was a real solution for woodwind players on the move.
