It Grips, but It Rips

I bought this product because I have a big issue with my bass drum sliding away from me because my pedals have a bass drum clamp that has no rubber on it (Axis XX Longboard pedals). This absolutely solved my problem and my bass drum stopped running away... until it ripped. Now it takes a lot of time today to get away, but it is still working and the adhesive is extremely sticky, very good. I decided to put a little bit of gaff tape on it which solved the ripping problem. If I were to recommend a product improvement, it would be adding high tensile strength fibers to the product so it lasts longer. Overall, however, I am happy with the product and would buy it again if I didn't already have it.
