Absolute bargain, but get rollers for your bridge
Anonymous 08.07.2016
This is something I had wanted for a very long time. I ordered it for my Epiphone SG, but in the end I decided to install it on my new Harley Benton SC-450Plus, as I thought a vintage-style vibrato could do better on a guitar with coil split options. I think it is a fantastic piece of engineering, as elegant as it is simple.

I am not particularly good at tinkering with guitars beyond the usual truss rod / intonation adjustments. It literally took me 10 minutes to install the whole thing, so I would say it is really easy. It is solid, looks extremely good, and you could go back to stock whenever you want.

I ended up installing rollers, though many will disagree with me. I just find that there is no loss of sustain whatsoever and that the tuning stability (which is not bad already) comes out improved by a good bit. Now, rollers cost me about 4 quid in total at my nearest guitar shop, so I guess it's not a modification that is going to break the bank.

It works very well. It is extremely smooth and has a very nice action. Clearly, it is not intended to be a Floyd Rose and it isn't very good divebomb material, but it was not designed with this in mind either. In fact, it is a vintage-style vibrato and so it should be used.

However... it goes down a good two / two and a half steps, and up about one, so you can abuse it if you really, really want to.

In conclusion, absolute bargain. If you have a LP-style guitar, you kind of need it!

Good vibrato, no drilling
Mark1967 06.01.2020
This is a great solution for adding a vibrato to a guitar without having to drill holes in it. I installed on a Gibson SG with no problem, although the pick guard partially sits underneath. To be clear, this is a vibrato system similar to a Bigsby -- don't expect to dive bomb. With that limitation in mind, you should be satisfied, as I am.

Nice, Good Quality Trem Unit.
Bob_Al 20.01.2022
I have fitted this to a Yamaha Revstar RS320, and it works well. I had to adjust by fitting an extra washer in order to centralise the up/down range to my taste, and the Duesenberg technical team were very helpful in achieving this. I intend to fit a Schaller STM Bridge to further enhance performance.

An easy solution
Motherspot 16.06.2021
This trem does'nt work good on all guitars. First i'v put it on a PRS Starla..it kept detuning. Then on a Duesenberg Starplayer Special. Worked a little better...but not totally ok and i liked this guitar better without a trem. Then i ordered a cheap roller bridge from China and installed it on the Harley Benton 'Jazzmaster'...it's very stable now, with the roller bridge...installation is 10 minutes work (including taking of the strings) It's absolutely hassle free. The quality of the tremelo is great for use on (some) stop-tail guitars. try it out!

Great Concept, But Not As Good As A Bigsby
guyinlyon 16.11.2021
It's like a Bigsby that's too darn small, so the "wang bar" gets in the way of your playing. I suppose that if you can get used to it it'd be okay but it's a big nope for me for use in real life.

Better than any other alternatives

Bought it to test it on my Starcaster. It doesn't only look premium, but it also feels top notch, I'm considering buying some more for my other guitars

Excellent, à condition...
Tesph 13.09.2022

Nice upgrade for my Epiphone Les Paul
BabyGenius 26.01.2020
Bought this trem for my Epiphone Les Paul Standard and installation was peanuts. A very sturdy and esthetically pleasing device that allows you to add nice tremelo to your Les Paul sound. I've read in several other reviews that tuning stabilty might be an issue if you don't install a roller bridge, but I haven't had any problems with that. I did put some Big Bends Nut Sauce on the nut and bridge though, which helps. Two things that you might want to consider before buying: it does add a bit of weight to your Les Paul and I suspect that the sustain is a bit less in comparison to the original tailpiece. But all in all, a nice upgrade to my Epi.
