Micromesh is great, but it's available in larger amounts, and cheaper.
Also, the foam-backed variety is better for polishing frets - the friction Micromesh causes can burn your finger. :)

Nice shine

I use these to finish frets and these produce a nice shine and can be cleaned afterward.

Great, but...

Gets the job done very well, but I'm not so sure about the claim that they can be washed and used again. I tried washing it in every way I could short of tossing it in the laundry machine, and nothing seemed to clean the spots off.

Good results

This really works better than steel wool to polish your frests.
Also, you can "wash" the cloth after use to get rid of most of the grime.
But I had the impression that one cloth will not function well for more than two or three guitars - we will see.

Take into account that this is a 8000 grain size cloth. So it will not remove deep indents on the frets. For that you need to first use a rougher cloth and successively move to finer grain size. Also look for a fretboard guard.
That said, you can also buy polishing cloths from hardware suppliers.

Does the job

I have used these to polish the frets on a couple of my ukulele's when changing the strings. Brought the frets up to lovely finish. Not sure how good the product would be for very tarnished/dirty frets, but good for routine fretboard maintenance.

The Dunlop micro fine polish cloth is a must have. Everytime I change strings, i polich my frets so they are smooth. It makes a difference on the feel of the instrument. Highly recommended.

My frets are shinier than ever!
SlipperyNutz 27.03.2021
I've had 2 of these over a year, they work really well. A few seconds rubbing each fret and they magically become mirrors. I wish the pieces were a bit bigger though, for the price they are a bit small...

Bring back life and shine to your frets!
Paul985 08.07.2014
I recently bought the Dunlop Maintenance Kit to keep my guitars in top condition and after trying out the fret cloths from Dunlop, I can say that they do a great job in refreshing dull frets.
My only criticism is that they don't last too long, but if this small expense increases the logevity and playability of my guitars, I'm happy with that.
