Great picks
Anonymous 05.09.2016
I've had a couple of these picks when i first started out 12 years ago, but i only recently decided to get some new ones.

Let me start out by saying that i play mostly metal, hard rock and everyhting in between.
I'm looking for picks with a clear tone and fast attack.

If you're looking for those things as well, i'd advise you to find some other picks than these.

I found them to be a lot more mellow and dark sounding than Tortex or Ultex, and they arent as responsive as those two either.

The shape is a little weird as well, if you've been using regular flat picks like i have, but you get used to the shape after a little while.

Like i said, i play a lot of metal, so that means a lot of hefty downstrokes.
That's something that'll really eat away at these picks, and relatively fast as well.
A normal Tortex pick lasts me about a weeks worth before the edges are all messed up.
These nylon picks barely lasts a day or two.

So if you're a metal player, and you're looking for new picks.
Try something else!

Does the job right for me
AngelosKapa 22.12.2021
Do not use picks but rarely as I am a finger bass player. However, they do the job right for my needs. I do not have great expectations but these picks exceed them.

Nice grip, precise sound
Yanbul 08.03.2014
Hey!

I´ve been using this pick for nearly 5 years now. I tried other picks in this time, but always came back to the big stubby nylon. This pick´s got a very comfotable form, but it needs time to get used to it, because of the contoured shape. Once you got used to it, you´ll never want to play other picks haha :D Although it´s quite a thick pick (2mm), but the tip is pretty thin and pointy, which enables very fast and precise picking, with almost no picking sounds (compared to the transparent plastic version or other picks). Forgot to mention: I´m a metal player, so the things I´m looking for in a pick are: tight grip, pointy tip and neutral picking sound. The durability is average, not very long, but ok. For bass or acoustic I would use some other picks, but for metal/shred-guitar it´s best.

The right Plek for bass playing!
Anonymous 15.05.2014
I have ordered different types of pleks because I have the problem, that I´m loosing the plek during the gig. So I decided to order different types of Pleks, so this one too. The Sound hasn´t very much middle but it´s very bassy. I like this thick Sound..it´s for my Sound the best. But the important thing of a plek is the grip! The of this one is very nice! I can hold it the whole time during my concert!
A big recommendation for every who play his Bass with a Plek and have the same problems like me! Good quality, good price..so get it!

Originally bought for bass but...

Now I am using them for playing guitar as well as they are great for more accurate and aggressive picking when playing lead lines and melodies. Not the best for strumming but compromises have to be made.

Great pick, super fast when bevelled.
repo251 11.06.2020
Wow! Found it sitting around, bevelled it and wow! Mellow but warm and articulate even at rapid speeds on a Taylor! Cheap! Gonna try the 3mm too!

Great once you get used to it
MicTsagk 09.04.2019
Used for guitar playing but it's great for bass too.
Have tried them for a while. They are hard (really hard) and firm. It might take sometime for one to get used to it's chunkiness, but, once you get there, it's hard to go back.
