Still great after all these years!
repo251 20.06.2020
Been round the boutique block and back again and these guys still rock the block!
Plain they’re great, but bevelled, like the many boutique picks or the classical guitarist nails, then they glide thru strings. Just shredded on a Taylor 414 with 12-53 gauge and they’re great. Les Paul with 11-48s or Ibanez with 9s, either was, they play the day.
One of these will last as long as a gravity acrylic pick or an Ibanez jtc, so for about half a euro, they’re well priced.

Bevelling is worth it, cos it improves playability!

Well done JD, you’re still the best!

These guitar picks are very adherent, they're hard to slip from your hands because of the relief in them. At the same time I feel that I have nothing between my fingers because they're very light, which in my opinion it's a good thing.
They are very lasting and resistant.
These Jazz III are very simple but for me they're really beautiful, so the workmanship is on point!
These type of guitar picks are very versatile, they are amazing!

The pick of Petrucci :-D
Sarah9042 13.02.2014
I'm not an experienced player but I bought these in addition to a variety pack of more flexible picks after watching a Danny Gatton video where he recommends trying a jazz pick (he says Roy Buchanan suggested this.) It's a lot stiffer than ordinary picks, which means it doesn't flop around or 'give' much when it crosses the string. This helps when playing fast, intricate lines, but has the disadvantage that there is less margin for error. When playing chords the pick will tend to 'hook' the strings if you aren't careful. It forces you to play more precisely. Seems okay to me - the point is to get better, right? But if you are a beginner or want the best pick for playing chords, you might prefer something more flexible. Even so, picks are cheap and beginners should experiment with different options, so you owe it to yourself to get a pack and try them. PS These picks SOUND BETTER to my ears. It's a more cutting sound, seemingly capturing more of the sound of the string and the neck than floppier picks.

my favorite
Brianvorst 08.04.2019
precision with this is amazing, especially if you want to play metal. pinch harmonics are easy because it is a samller pick. grip is amazing.

only downsides are, the grippy part can get a little bit dirty after a few uses. it isn't visible but I know this because I also own the red version.

Also do NOT drop these. just like all picks, it will dissapear, finding a smaller and black coloured pick is the worst!

I would recommend you buy this!

It’s just the right size and thickness for my bass picking needs

What else do I need to add, it’s a personal thing, picks, it’s durable enough but I have 5 of them, and they lasted for more than a year already.

Much better Grip than normal Jazz3
Nicolas S 23.04.2019
I can no longer go back to the normal jazz3 nylons, these offer a much better grip and therefore control. Well worth it. The sound is less bright than Tortex picks, just like the normal jazz3 nylons.

Best pick out there!
jkell 11.10.2019
If you, like me, find that you often drop picks that do not have grip on them, but you also want to try the magic that is the jazz III then these are the picks for you.

The grip allows you to keep a hold of the pick even when your fingers get sweaty. The smaller size of the jazz III picks vs larger picks allows for more precise picking and an overall improvement in playing ability.
