Some of the greatest picks to be found
Kalle W. 27.09.2020
I love these picks. They have the right size, the right grip, and a good feel. They are a step up from the normal Jazz-picks. They are thick though, so I would not use them for fine acoustic picking. But for jazz, metal, blues and anything else that can tolerate a heavy hand, these are simply the best. The only downside is that they can be hard to find when dropped, since they are slightly transluscent and not that easy to see on the floor. But these are still my favourite picks!

Thin yet hard!
TotteNilsson 16.06.2020
The perfect pic for players looking for hard pics. I transfered from softer pics after being recommended to try these by a friend, and it added articulation to my playing as well as is giving me an improved touch response, tighter sound and removes some of the "out of tune" sounds I had when plyaing with softer pics.

This pic is massivly hard, without being crazy thick.

I don't struggle so much with sweat, so grip is not really an issue to me.

GREAT pic I recommend everyone to try.

Everybody else is right -- these picks are the best
nikreiman 19.01.2022
Being a somewhat new/intermediate guitarist, I was not quite settled to a particular pick size or density. I bought a few different sizes at a local guitar shop, but also these picks since they are the highest rated (or at least were at the time of writing) in the category. They are really great! The textured grip makes them easy to hold on to, and the density is perfect.

P
Great picks for smoother playing.
Patrick8504 09.01.2019
Having tried a million different pick shapes and sizes without finding anything that I really loved, I finally settled on these. The jazz shape is excellent for playing styles like rock, metal or jazz that require faster picking, however I always found standard jazz picks were too small for my hands. These are the perfect balance of the two as their slightly larger size makes them ideal for those of us that want to play fast but still be able to hold on to the pick. The raised "Dunlop" logo on the pick also makes it very easy to grip and hold on to. The ultex material is super tough and takes a lot longer than other materials like tortex or nylon to wear down.

but i rated grip as 4 stars.
it felt really good when new but after little while surface wasn't so sticky anymore.
But If you need rigid pick this one is good choice.

Dunlop Ultex JazzIII
Mr. Guitar 27.01.2015
I really felt in love with the Dunlop JAZZ III shape.
I used the red ones for years and there wasn't a reason, why I should search for other picks.
But some day, I started to make pick slides onstage and the sound of the pickslides wasn't that good with the normal red and black Jazz III picks.
So I've found these Ultex Jazz III. They are a bit stiffer and now, my pickslides are sounding MUCH better. And I think, the grip on these Dunlop Ultex Jazz III is even better than on the normal Jazz III picks and they seem to last longer. I'm really happy with them.

AV
Perfect for me
Aaron Vander Horst 22.08.2022
I like sharp slightly thick jazz picks, I have sweaty hands and these are a bit bigger so there is more contact which was ideal for me. The material is amazing though, just after a month of everyday playing It will start to lose the sharp point and I’m a heavy player, awesome durability.

Great all around picks.
EValera 29.10.2018
I still like to use Tortex for playing different kinds of metal and bass when I use a pick, but now these Ultex made Jazz are my standard pick.

Personally, the Jazz III shape feels great but I do enjoy having more grip area, so the XL fit better.
The Ultex material feels way better than the usual nylon and lasts way way longer than nylon, tortex, or whatever else.
It also has great tone. In my opinion, more clarity than other materials, but not harsh like thin hard nylons.

I just wish it had a different colour because this one makes it hard to find when dropped.

Perfect! almost
Charvel55 21.11.2017
Have been using these for over 2 years for practice and live playing, only picks that last more than 2-3 gigs and most importantly have a great grip. perfect for a good attack on the notes, only negative is if it falls on the floor, good luck in finding it
