Did not fit to strap pin
Habirus 13.11.2017
Pros: Very well made and the idea behind this straplock is simple and effective. But some Cons: (1) the actual staplock received is different from the one on the picture (at least for 2017-11-13). The one I received is shaped more like a guitar pic; (2) the received straplock does not have the smaller hole (intended to tie the lock to strap or strap pin) thus if you change a strap on your guitar there are good chances that you can loose the lock; (3) Although description say 3 pieces in the package I received there were only two pieces :-( and (4) it did not fit to my Harley Benton Tele with simplest Ernie Ball strap. I assume the reason for this is thickness of strap's leather end and construction of the strap pin. So in my case the item get useless but I'm sure in other cases (pins and straps) it would work perfectly.

I used to be a big fan of these
Guy Declerck 29.04.2021
I had these on all my guitars, but when I started to rehearse again with my band, these made a LOT of noise, especially on my hollow body guitars. You could constantly hear it throught the amp as well and I had to switch over to rubber strap locks. It also left marks on my Les Paul with satin finish. That being said, the lock system is great and it did the job! I can recommend these for sure but I tend to lean towards other strap locks now :)

The perfect concept for straplocks
Anonymous 05.09.2016
This is a very good concept for straplocks, they will keep your guitar safe 100% but the problem is that they are very rigid and they leave scratches on leather guitar straps.

Pros:
good concept (your guitar will never fall), good quality

Cons:
They are big and they are scratching the guitar strap.

Good Solution

If you don't want to permanently modify your guitar or for some reason cannot install regular straplocks these make a good alternative. Putting them on is simplicity itself. I've used them on and off for 2 years and they're still going strong.

OK solution
DominikZ 18.12.2016
This is a nice idea, but in my experience unfortunately it does not appear to work as well.
Mine at least are fairly finicky to open/close, and don't fit larger (e.g. newer Gibson) strap buttons. Although these are OK for compatible guitars, I'd still recommend something else.

Good Accesoire
Micha6814 06.05.2014
I had Problems with my strap on my acoustic guitar, because it fell off sometimes, which was dangerous playing while standing.
So I bought those Straploks and would recommend them and the system, but I found, that it was not enough space at the guitar knob with strap and straplok, so you should check first, if it's enough to put those straploks on.
Nevertheless, so good for the safety of your guitar!

Usable, but not the best feeling
Piotr Nosoff 11.06.2019
Doesn't give the best feeling of security, ergonomy and lock system should be better.

Handy

These can come in very handy at times, especially with heavier bodies guitars and basses. I use them most of the time on my fender telecaster. Quality is reasonable but they are made out of plastic and have their limitations.

For the price, you can't go wrong. It does what it's meant to do but there are obviously more expensive, more durable alternatives. If you just want something cheap that'll do the job, get these. If you want something that will last years, spend a little more and get something made of metal.
