I did some research on ear training software. As I wanted something to help with relearning music, also as an aid in teaching my ears to relearn sounds.
Earmaster 7, it is a bit different than others; in that, it looks to have a simple menu and screen layout, but don't be fooled by it, as on each page, you have a chance to go in depth. (If you want to). The main menu lets you dip into a subject not in any order.
For me it works, but for others this software may not work for them. As perhaps for some the workflow , maybe a bit frustrating.
In comparison with another brand, EarMaster 7 was cheaper. I did trial the software from EarMaster website, to see if I was happy with it, (limited version), before downloading the full paid software from Thomann website, which was so
Easy and stress free.
So far have had no problems with it, on my computer, but have not tried this on my tablet so unable to give an opinion, as to whether the EarMaster would work on other devices. I would not recommend this on the computer monitor speakers alone, I found that I had much better sound quality through good quality speakers.
