Ich selber bin Kontrabassist, und habe mir seinerzeit, als ich noch Probespiele machte, dieses Heft mit ausgewählten Orchesterstellen gekauft. Es sind wirklich all die gebräuchlichen Stellen drin. Da ich auch von anderen Musikerkollegen nur positive Resonanz zu dieser Reihe bekam, habe ich nun für meine Nichte, die Hornistin ist, dieses Exemplar gekauft. Mein erster Eindruck bestätigt mir meine Erfahrung, dass sehr kompakt wirklich alle wichtigen Orchesterstellen wie sie bei Probespielen vorgelegt werden enthalten sind. Es sollte zwar nicht die etwas ausführlicheren Orchesterstellenliteratur ersetzen ist aber gerade bei der Vorbereitung für Probespiele sehr hilfreich.
