Don't know why EHX pedals have this weird non standard 9.5v and 9.6v inputs for their pedals. I got the Memory Boy Deluxe and tried it out, no sound (how ironic) so i tried 500mah 9v one (you know it's over powered for one pedal) and still no sound until i turned delay gain all the way up and blend basically all the way up then i heard a hair of delay. well this situation is not ideal at all. then i got this one EU96 and it works all most fine. To make matters worse, on their website they say basically random Boss or Ibanez replace, that's plain right false information. You could accidentally plug this to other pedal and fry it up. Should also mention that this isn't one of those slim nor sleek it's pretty bulky and heavy one.

Really annoying that EH make pedals that use 9.6 volts. In retrospect I think I may have sold a deluxe memory boy due to the repeats being too noisy - something that may have been due to the power supply only being 9 volts. A real shame... Bought this to troubleshoot some noise issues with an Octave Multiplexer but it didn't fix the issue. I have no doubt it works, but the issue must be with the pedal itself... Marking it down because it is a bulky thing and I have a special loathing for 2 pin plugs - they are ridiculously unstable. Add to this the fact that you need to use a 3 pin adaptor and the thing becomes gigantic. It'll not be used.

Good supply
Anonymous 21.06.2015
As an Irish musician, I have to use a plug adapter with this supply. The 2 pronged adapter is not particularly durable though, even when being careful not to damage the supply, through natural wear and tear at gigs they have bent easily. It still powers my POG well but on occasion it doesn't work. Decent supply but the company should work on strengthening the durability of this product.

Perfect for small pedal set, no squeal, flexible
Mojek 12.10.2019
If you have no more than 4-5 FX's, than this PS together with good chain cable is the best solution. Will survive even 300mA's and no squealing as with induction PS's (which operation stops exactly at maximal current value). The only drawback is the thin cable, which can be fixed, hence the classical screws.

Can't be better
Perwanie 28.11.2017
I've been using these adaptors already my whole career, and same to my band/family members! Always clear signal and easly plugable to a daisychain. Only ¤10.- for a lifelong adaptor
Pros:
cheap
great quality
No signal loss
Standard voltage for effects
Cons:
Wire is a bit thin, so be carefull with shipping
Recommended: Daisy Chain 5 way

Work well
MayaG 14.12.2017
Does its job done, had no issues whatsoever. Iám using it with a Zoom multieffect, plus used it occasionally for other effects and miniamps. Worked consistently well in all cases.
The only negative things is that the cord is quite thin - I'm worried it will wear quickly, but no sign of that so far after months of use.

suits best for EHX Micro POG
Shahab Tolouie 21.02.2016
After I lost the original adapter for my Micro POG I tried various adapters by other makes. The only issue is that these pedals work best with 9.6V adapters they come originally with. when used with distortion the difference isn't that evident. The problem is with acoustic setup or clean sound. here if used with a regular 9V power supply you get a certain amount of hum and noise. These EHX pedals are for whatever reason built to work best with 9.6V and if you (as I do) have songs where you combine acoustic sound with octaver then you probably want to consider buying these adapters if he original got lost. simply 9V power supply isn't the right one to power these for clean sound. the quality is superb. when inserted the stay firm and don't come off easily. the cable could be a bit more reliable but for what it does it's more than OK. Thanks Thomann for the great service and fast delivery. cheers

Electro Harmonix 9.6 Volt Adaptor
TeddyBeer 15.11.2017
Not much to say..it's an adaptor that works like it should and seems reliable. I bought it for my bass player that uses a Big Muff Fuzz pedal with his bass.
I recommend this for EHX pedals. The bass muff sounds twice as good with this thing and so our songs.
Nothing bad to say about it.
