Elixir Resonator Strings

Probably the best strings for Dobro, I haven't met the better ones yet. Long service life and great performance. The strings will definitely last half a year, so the price is ok !!!

These strings brought my old Johnson back to life! They strengthened and brightened the sound, while keeping it balanced. They have lasted longer than expected with heavy play, and I can think of nothing that was problematic about them. I highly recommend them.

I won't use any other brand. Elixir are head & shoulders above the rest.
My strings used to last a week or so. Now, using Elixir Strings, I change them every three or four months!!!
With no tone or intonation loss!!!

replaced the stock strings (dAddario) that came with the HB Reso-electric custom resonator
offers a warmer sound

This morning I decided to replace the strings on my Continental resonator with the newly purchased Elixir strings. I did not get far. As I began to tension the first, high E, string it broke even before it was possible to get a note out of it. Now I have a very expensive set of five strings which are of no use to me and no high E because I cut it off. (The rating system now wants me to rate the sound - but how, when there is none?)

I haven't yet compared these strings to any other ones on the market but they sound well.

good strings with great tone but a bit pricey. i really wish they where cheaper because ironically i would spend more on them but just can't justify it at the price.

Works great like all the elixir strings. Sound is awesome! Didn’t change for 7 months! Lasts very long!

Ideal for resonator and as while they are heavy strings they don't play heavy
