This is a good alternative to the Humes and Berg clear tone mute which can be so variable in quality.
My own Humes and Berg is a bad one for overall intonation-luck of the draw.
With the Emo I still have to pull the tuning slide out a good 2 cm but the intonation and response of the mute is good.
I also have a Roger Ingram Showtone mute which is excellent but over twice the price
