Endorphin.es Ghost Black

Bad online rumours weren’t too far from the truth (unfortunately). The item I received was defective, the out 1 was extremely quiet and therefore the module couldn’t be used in stereo…What a shame because the module seemed to have a great sonic potential.

Besides the fact that Endorphin.es seems to suffer from serious quality control here is are my immediate feedbacks considering that my unit might also not be so reliable due to the mentioned issue.

Good:

- Comb filter is a great addition
- The FX routing swap is great
- The different levels of distortion/drive too
- Really features packed and versatile!

Bad:

- Downside of so many features per hp, all knobs are really cluttered
- The filter cutoff is quite loose and I presume that in few month it will start wobbling on its own (really bad for a performance case because it could drastically impact the sound)
- Might be my unit, but the filter resonnance decrease the sound volume when used after noon (unusuable for sound design)
- Noise floor but it’s fine since it has so many stages of amps
- Quality control

It’s my first ES module and I have to admit being quite disappointed. Might be my last one. On paper was great, it’s materialisation sucks.
