Epiphone 940-E519 Case

I own an Epiphone ES-335 Dot and decided to get this case for it because it looks great and is of the matching Epiphone brand. I have been pretty satisfied with it so far and haven't found any glaring issues. It fits the guitar well and leaves a little bit of wiggle room. The matte black finish looks great but is easily scuffed up, a problem that I imagine plastic cases don't have. I have used this case on multiple flights (not as a carry-on but as checked luggage) and though it has received some marks from handling in the airport, it has held up just fine structurally, and the guitar has been left undamaged every time. There exist cheaper cases on the market that can probably get the job done just as well, but I chose this one over those based on the external looks alone.

I got a used Peerless Songbird the Korean Casino. I needed a case and went for the epiphone as its an exact fit and looks good in the pictures and only about 20 euro more than the generic branded ones so though what the hell. It is a perfect fit with just a small bit of wiggle room for the guitar. The inside is nice and plush and with a raised foam under the fur for a level guitar in the box. The latches are pretty big and all work well. The outside skin looks good but I am not over confident it wont chip or scratch but again I am happy with it. The lid action is good and im hoping it wont go out of shape and wont shut in the future.

Needing some storage and safe way of transporting my Epiphone Sheraton, I have bought this case.
Although the price may seem too much for a simple case, this case provides a warranty of confidence and safety.
I would say the only downside is that it can't hold a strap with strap-locks. The outer coating seems thin and it's easy to tear apart in a sharp surface. Other than that, it seems pretty durable.
It provides a nice support whether it stays up, lying down or by the side. The inner seam is very well made and the inner draw behind the neck rest is more than enough to hold a power cable, a jack cable or even a pedal! The handle is also pretty tough.

Overall I would say, if you own any ES-335 style guitar and want to provide the best protection at the best price, this is the right choice.

This case is very good and fix into my guitar very well.
I wouldn't recommend it for a professional musician who might want to protect a valuable guitar that has to be transported in vans, cargo bays etc., but for the amateur or semi-professional musician who will be transporting their instrument themselves, or simply keeping it safe at home, then this case is ideal. It is well made, quite light and accomodates traditional classical guitars very snugly. It also comes with a strap and two 'D' mounts so that it can be suspended from the shoulder or supported in the same way for additional security.
