The case was purchased to replace the Epiphone lite case that came with the guitar. In someways the soft case is better. The hard case is not a patch on a Gibson or Fender case (Which I have both) this hard case seems to have a problem alining the lid and base and is very hard on the actual guitar. If it was not for the issues returning it from the UK to Germany I did think of returning it. It was recommended by Thomann for the Epiphone ES semi acoustic guitar BB King Lucille. Sorry cannot recommend the hard case.

Nice case but not perfect

Case is ok except for the lid doesn't close properly and needs to be "pulled" so it closed correctly and be locked. Thought it was because the guitar was in it but removed guitar and the same problem. Not a big deal but just a bit niggly. Would have bought the cheaper thomann own brand to save afew quid.
