Being a user of the regular Ernie ball skinny top Heavy bottom I wanted to try these to compare them.
I really liked the feel of the strings, and throughout the time I used them they maintained that new-string feeling which was a great plus.
The sound was somewhat darker, in a good way without loosing clarity.
If these strings had the same price as regular Ernie ball-strings I would probably use them more often.

Ideal for Metal riffs

10-52 is a good match for riffs and soloing.
The sound is direct and tight.
Dropping to C also no problem.
Only problem I had was the roughness on the wound strings....
