A huge change in sound

Not necessarily a good thing though. Compared to other strings I previously used, which usually were Dean Markley and D'addario also some GHS at times. These sound reeeeeally different. I honestly don't appreciate it a lot at the moment, because soon I will have a concert and need to recalibrate everything. They underline more distortion/ overdrive, and eq wise - they sound more bassy (mashed up too), and the highest notes are also stronger the only thing I like at the moment. The other strings I used were more balanced, or maybe I just was too used to them. Bottomline I will have to experiment with pedals to see if I find the sounds that convince me. But this is the first time in 20+ years I used these and its also the first time where I have seen so big changes in sound between one set and another

Best price/quality ratio

I have tried all sorts of strings during passed years (D'Adario, Elixir...). Last 10 years I use Ernie Ball regular slinky 0.10-0.46 because they have best price/quality ratio.
Bright, cristal clear, ringing sound. Durable (I like to band a lot and till now none of strings have been broken), good sustain. Strings for all kind of music or guitars. I use them for standar tuning, open G, drop D.... Very versatile. Well balanced on Telecaster, Stratocaster, ES335.
Recommendation.

Awesome pack of strings

Quality is great, sounds good and unbeatable price. I've already tried many different string brands, but the Ernie ball offer the greatest quality for the price.
PS: thanks Thomman for the great packaging/shipping job. Even though it was just a pack of strings, the box was kinda big and with much plastic/paper over it to make sure there would be no damage.

Classic for a reason

Nothing beats Ernie Ball in terms of quality to performance. The strings sound bright and full, slick and easy to play and will last a decent while if you take care of them (I use GHS Fast Fret to keep them clean).

Conclusion: buy it.
