ESP LTD EC-256 BLK

Bought this beauty a month ago to be my 2nd guitar to play less aggressive style music and clean sounds. My first guitar (Ibaneze RGIB6-BK with active EMG pickups) was not suitable for this. And believe it or not this Les Paul can produce clean and dirty sounds and everything even with passive pick-ups OMG :). My black aggressive baritone sits unused for a month already.

Pros:
- Beautiful clean channel sound with coil-split knob pulled out
wide range growl in bridge humbucker mode with long enough sustain (can I describe it wet? but thats different, it is richer compared to dry-ish EMG81 signal)
- decent quality of everything - this is ESP
- price!
Cons:
Just to write here something - the guitar is quite heavy and you will need a strap lock or you drop it some day.
It gone loose 2 times in a month I catched it fortunately.

I am really pleased with all the things this guitar offers, such as versatility, excellent sound and good quality.

The guitar came in good packaging and didn't have any factory mistakes. Using the tuners, volume and tone knobs feels good and sturdy. The cable-jack is a bit loose, but it isn't a big issue. I think the guitar strings are 10s, they give off a nice tone.

The finish I think is beautiful, the gold hardware gives it a more vintage vibe and the black paint is good too. The paintjob is a magnet for fingerprints and dust tho. This is a minor thing, not to worry about.

This guitar has LH-150 pickups wich in my opinion sound excellent and warm. Using the coil tap feature you can get more clearer tones. This makes it a very versatile guitar.

Like I said earlier, this is the perfect guitar for me, I haven't had any problems with it. I recommend it, it is the most bang for your buck guitar you can get.

I own this guitar for one month and I'm really satisfied with it.
Before owning this guitar, I played a Fender Squier Strat and I feel a noticeable improvement of my guitar playing since I've switched to this guitar. I use this instrument mostly for playing classic rock (AC/DC, Guns n' Roses etc.) but it satisfies my needs on the field of blues and metal, too.
Pros: good sound, quality hardware, the guitar itself is beautiful
Cons: the guitar is a little bit heavy, but that's normal for a Les Paul.
In summary, I'm very pleased with this instrument, It's a quality instrument, relatively inexpensive. I think it's worth the money.
