Very nice instrument at a reasonable price
Milberry 28.10.2020
I was not too sure when ordering this gutar as I had no previous experience with LTD, knowing it is a less expensive line of instruments from ESP made in Indonesia and the like.
The reality turned out to be quite impressive. First of all, I could not find any issues quality-wise. The guitar is built really well, including flawless fretwork. Only if you look inside the guitar you can see some less than perfect workmanship in the form of wooden "debris". But I guess you can easily see the same in more renowned brands.
The sound, the playability, and the overall feel are all very good.
My only concern is that the guitar came without a case and even without a gigbag. At this price level an Indonesian guitar should definitely have a case or at least a gigbag. But the lack thereof seems to be a general tendency in the guitar manufacturing world.
Those who buy this instrument (which I strongly recommend), please beware that you might encounter some harsh "parasite" sounds when strumming. You might, same as myself, think it comes from a loose part inside the guitar. But this is not the case. Just put some felt or other soft material under the strings between the nut and the tuning posts. And -- voila! -- the problem would be gone.
Anyhow, I recommend this guitar to those who look for a "hybrid" between a semi-hollow electric and a Western with piezo.
Finally, the colour of my guitar is much more greenish than the name of the colour suggests (IMO). But it's okay.
