This is the second time I replace this low-mid driver from EV and it seems that the power rating should be around 20% lower than the official 200W power rating. This driver has some problems with the cone, after 2-3 years of use (installation, not rental) the cone paper become unstable and thus start to generate bizzing noise during vocal singing or similar sounds. Note that the system which uses this EV driver is installed inside restaurant with low humidity and no direct sunlight to the loudspeakers.
Although this EV driver is not that much expensive, it reproduces warm and ear-friendly every sound from the source. The life of the driver is not very long, but I can still recommed loudspeaker units like EV ZX-1-90, just do not use constantly with 200W power amplifier for a long time. The 200W power rating is definitely not AES. More like 200W program power.
