Excellent heads

I’ve been a Remo man for tears but these have changed my mind. The “360” feature means that they sit much better on the bearing edge of my vintahe kit, which aids tuning. Coated G12s on top, coated G1s on the bottom. Excellent!

I use this as the resonant head on a vintage floor tom. It tunes up nicely and allows a nice blooming tone to come out of the drum. It works perfectly well in this situation but could also be used as the batter head.

Ziemlich fetter Sound für ein einlagiges Fell

Das Evans G1 ist eine sehr gut klingendes und vielseitiges, einlagiges Fell. Im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz mit R ist der Sound etwas runder und voller. Bei einlagigen Fellen muss man ja doch relativ stark aufpassen nicht zu sehr "zuzulangen". Dieses Fell hat einen erstaunlich großen Toleranzbereich was die Spieldynamik anbelangt.
Auch der Stimmbereich funktioniert von tief bis hoch einwandfrei ohne untenrum matschig zu klingen oder obenrum zu dünn.

Das Fell sitzt perfekt auf der Trommel, ist einfach zu stimmen und das Coating hält lange - wunderbar!

Le mie pelli preferite

Utilizzo le G1 su tutto il set da 7 pezzi come battenti, provando il vasto mondo delle pelli mi sono soffermato su questa serie da oltre un anno perchè sono molto espressive. A mia opinione le monostrato sono quelle che mantengono il suono del legno più naturale. La evans ha 3 tipi di monostrato G1: 1mm, 1,2mm e 1,4mm.
Queste sono quelle inferiori, quindi di durata del tempo minore, ma prima di provarle temevo di doverle cambiare a breve, non essendo così ho continuato ad acquistarle.
Consiglio per tutti i generi dove non ci sia da pestare forte sennò sono soldi sprecati.
