Simply good sounding and durable head

I have been using this head on my Ludwig Super Classic bass drum for more than a decade, and it has that perfectly balanced tone, between thump and click, projecting a true wall of pure bass sound! If you're a drummer, you know what I meen. This is the first time I change it in a decade, so one can say it is very durable! I have tried other bass heads on other bass drums, but this is The One. And the price is right! ;)

I am not entirely sure how I feel about this head it might just be my kick or an off head but it doesn't seem to resonate for me how I would like. Its still very use-able I have recorded with it and gotten some good sounds but I don't think its for me.

I play some sort of funk fusion / prog rock kind of thing and this drum head just fits in the place.
Extremely easy to tune, amazing muffling system. I like its thick sound and it has very punctual response. It seems like it was made for my bass drum (Tama superstar hyperdrive 22)
A slight con is perhaps that when I play with a bassist whose amp's volume is turned up a whole lot, I have a difficulty hearing it, but I blame my lame pedal rather than the drum head.

Ich habe ja schon unglaublich viele Bassdrumfelle im laufe der Jahre im Einsatz gehabt, Von Powerstroke 3, Powerstroke 4, Remo CS , Emeror, Pinstripe usw... Habe alle Felle gespielt bis durchgespielt waren, denn mit Dämpfung und mit verschiedenen Stimmungen bekommt man irgendwie aus jedem Fell einen passablen Sound raus der sich gut mikrofonieren lässt. Aber beim Evans EQ3 geht es halt am schnellsten muss wenig rumschrauben und hat extrem schnell einen fetten Bassdrumsound.
Aber Drumsound ist halt Geschmackssache!
Die verarbeitung ist auch Weltklasse. Bei dem Preis darf man das auch erwarten.!!
In der Gesamtpunktzahl habe ich einen Punkt abgezogen da zwar ein EQ Patch beiliegt allerdings nur einer. Ich denke 90 % der Drummer benutzt heute eine Doppelfußmaschine. Da wäre es toll wenn entweder 2 Stück beigelegt würden oder einer für Doppelfußmaschinen.
Die Lieferung von Thomann wie immer schnell und zuverlässig.
