I am personally delighted with this strings. I was literally struggling to find "my sound" for my strat - I have tried many kinds of string. But eventually I have found "my precious". 3150LR are best choice having light midlle nad heavy bottom strings making an ideal mix for blues players.
Last but not least, the price is best as always - you cannot find it cheaper than on Thomann :)

Perect for my sound...

The Fender 3150LR for me is the perfect string set for my Fender Jeff Beck Strat. I prefer the softer sound of pure nickle over steel strings. Also my band colleagues appreciate thet sound (funk music). The durability is acceptable, but the feel is much better than coated strings that I also tryed.

Great Strings
Anonymous 15.03.2015
These are a good set of strings. The bullet ends offer good sustain and tuning stability. They produce a nice rich and warm tone. Great for blues and jazz.
These strings have a slightly longer playing life than the Nickel plated steel type. They have a slightly smoother feel opposed to the other coated string types.
I use Fender's pure nickel wound and nickel plated steel on different guitars for different applications. I like to use the pure nickel wound mainly for my jazz style playing and tend to use the nickel plated steel for a lot of pop/rock style playing.
I have tried a lot of different brands over the years and have to say Fender are my favourite. Cant go wrong with Fender strings!
