I own a Fender platinum tweed 5m bass cable, bought 15 years ago. It still works amazing. However, 5m is sometime too long. So I wanted to buy a 3m long cable, only to realize that the Platinum is no longer available. After reading some reviews, I opted for this one. it's thinner than the platinum (and this has the advantage that you can "domesticate" it much easier than the Platinum) and absolutely noiseless (as the platinum), but simply pulling it out of the instrument or of the amp, the plastic screw cap unscrews. I understand that, with screw caps, you can, in case of problems, open and solder the wires, but like this is not acceptable for a cable this price.

BUT

Lower frequencies are bit cutoff! So the sound seems bit thin to me.. Might be just my ears. But nothing to worry too much about :)
Sounds fantastic and virtually no noise :)
Happy with the purchase so far... will see about the durability in coming years

Have in total 4 of these, 2x3mtrs, 1x90cms and 1xblack tweed x5mtrs
Only but is the shorter 90cm's version I had for a while now which started pealing off the nice yellow-golden tweed at the connector height, hope this is not a tendency. Nothing a bit of isolation tape can't fix though it is a quality item that should hold for a while.
Still very happy with the tweed fender cables.

It's very good and has an extraordinary quality however it picks up noise I am completely sure it's due to the cable so don't take my word for it but overall I am very pleased with this cable, it's made of high quality braided cable with metal jack plugs.

Good quality guitar cable

Wanted a short guitar cable that didn't tangle. This is perfect. Bit expensive but the tweed covering stops it tangling.
