purchased for my 70's CV strat. One of the new turners, placed on high E string, turns efectivly after quite a bit delay. A bit annoying.
Not meant for Squier for any mean, needs a lot of works from luthier or yourself. A hole radius is wrong (I didn't ask luthier which way) and have to drill 2 holes per tuner on back side. A lot of work.
Depends on country but installation will cost about the same price as tuners themselves!!
Wanted to make it look the same as original but for Squier , even CV, I think not next time (if that will be). I replaced original tuners for my G&L ASAT with Thomann locking ones - excellent tuners! Should of took the same path...
Too late to return as these ase installed already.
Fender vintage locking tuners are NOT for Squiers for sure, this is what Fender Co wants to make sure (regarding to my experience)
