I've been wanting a jazz different both in looks and sound and having a more vintage tone. When i first took a look on this guy i was instantly impressed, both by the features, sound, and looks of it, specially the royal ebony fretboard featuring some lighter patterns over it. I ordered it and got it, it was well set up, the tone that it delivers is amazing, and the preamp eq is insanely useful and versatile, i havent had an issue with it yet. I would have to say that this is the most amazing bass that i have ever played, glad owning it, pushed me and inspired me to continue to improve my techniques and playing, you can deliver a sound from basic vintage to any modern. For those who wonder, even just by using the passive mode you get a great tone, the neck does feel as i just wanted it to feel, the D shape provides an ease while playing, making this bass the one u want to pick at the moment, it will not stop you at any cost. As for the end i just have to say that it is a bass worth it's money, the materials that it is made of are excellent and so that goes for the tone, even better, this is a total positive review both for thomann and fender!
