Je voulais m'acheter une mustang depuis longtemps car l'esthétique atypique et compacte me plaisait beaucoup, et je suis tombé sur ce modèle un peu différent.
Pour ce qui est des caractéristiques, l'esthétique générale est vraiment top, c'est une superbe guitare, la finition Aged Natural rend très bien, la guitare est pas trop lourde et bien équilibrée, la taille compacte est très agréable et le manche en C de fender est super facile à jouer. Petit regret de ne pas avoir de vibrato comme sur les mustangs standards mais ça fonctionne bien dans l'esprit guitare simple d'utilisation. Le fait d'avoir seulement un sélecteur de position micros simplifie vraiment l'utilisation et on a plus tendance à se concentrer sur son jeu de guitare que sur le bidouillage du son.
Le son des P90 change vraiment des simples bobinages de mustang standard, on a un son plus prononcé et claquant, c'est assez agréable si on est habitué aux strats fender. C'est aussi très polyvalent, je joue sur un Jazz Chorus de Roland et les micros vont bien sur du blues comme du shoegaze.
La guitare est bien fichue, pas de défauts majeurs, je regrette seulement que le manche soit en vernis mat, mais c'est une appréciation personnelle. Cependant le réglage usine pontets et micros n'est pas très précis, il va falloir l'ajuster soit même.
Mis à part ça, pour un achat compulsif je suis plutôt satisfait. La guitare est passe partout et je me vois bien la garder longtemps et l'utiliser pour une variété de styles et de projets. Gros plus pour la configuration simple P90.
