Fender Player Plus Strat MN TQS

I always wanted, but never thought I would actually own, a real Fender Strat? It has been a dream of mine since I can't remember when? Well, due to good fortune, and good luck, I now have the means to build up my guitar collection in later life before it's too late and I either can't play them anymore, or I can't see where they're hanging on the damn wall,lol!
Anyway, the reality of finally getting my Fender was NOT a disappointment, it was everything I dreamed it would be. This may not be the most expensive of Strats, but it certainly impressed me straight out of the box. To start off it is stunningly beautiful to look at IMHO, the deep red to orange yellow fade is great and really appeals to an old hippy with arthritis and fading eyesight (that's the excuse I'll use if no one else loves it as much as I do?) It just feels quality in my hands, solid satisfying weight to it, and then the sound... OH! The sound, it is just how I wanted it to be and again it did not dissapoint! I have definitely fallen in love with this guitar and it takes pride of place in my motley collection of different styles and makes of axe, absolutely a keeper.
