You don?t just want them, you NEED them
RossWhite 16.06.2017
I have being playing Strats for years. These springs only come with the Made In American Strats. I don?t understand why Fender don?t include them with the Made In Mexico guitars as well. The extra cost is minimal and they transform the way a ?screw in? Tremolo Arm plays. All the irritating wobble disappears without having to screw in the arm so tight that you either cannot move it or you risk stripping the threads.
I have used them on Mexican, Squier and virtually every copy I have come across. If the guitar has a Fender style bridge with a screw in tremolo arm, both six point and two point styles, these springs will work. Just unscrew the tremolo arm, drop in the spring and screw the tremolo arm back in, until you just start to feel resistance. Try not to over tighten as this will reduce the life of the spring. With use and I mean a lot of use, the springs can start to compress. When this happens, just screw in the tremolo arm one turn and off you go again. After about three tightens, which for me is after at least three years heavy use, it is time to replace the spring. They are cheap enough from Thomann!
The bottom line is, if you play a fender style guitar with a screw in Tremolo Arm, you don?t just want to use these springs, you NEED them!

Incredible Tone!
Nijoho 04.02.2021
Without doubt, the finest tone springs for your tremolo arm money can buy. I hear Eric Johnson gets his carved from Unicorn horns by a beautiful lady of Mexican decent, 102 years young, at the Fender Custom Shop. For the rest of use, this is the next best thing.

I bought 15 packs, and tried them all to find the one I liked best. It gives me a little extra in the upper mids when I "down bar", and certainly extra magical sparkle as the bar returns. It has an almost symbiotic relationship with my Klon too. Wonderfully musical.

As an extra little bonus, I've noticed that it also holds the trem bar nicely in place - no more flapping around down by the tone controls.

Perfet!

You don't know you need them until you tried them once. I was always annoyed by the loosely hanging vibrato bar on my strat and didn't know what to do. I didn't even know these springs existed and are built in into every strat - unfortunately they easily get lost.
The installation is very easy. You just drop the spring into the hole and screw your vibrato bar in. You can feel a resistance at some point and you no longer have any problems with hanging vibrato bars.
As i mentioned earlier they unfortunately tend to getting lost. But luckily they are not very expensive either. 10/10 would buy again.

Vital part of a vintage tremolo
Charles in Gdansk 16.09.2022
I honestly never saw one of these in all my years of playing Strats until one fell out of the bridge of an EJ strat. I had to ask online what it was for. This is one of the most useful things. No more ruining threads or using tape on the trem arm. Just drop this in the hole before you screw in your arm and you can have an arm that doesn't dangle limply. The arm can now be tight enough to hold the position but loose enough that you can move it out of the way.

Absolutely must have
Moleman 20.06.2024
This is something you absolutely need to buy as soon as you buy some cheaper Fender Strat. It stops the tremolo arm from wiggling around – adds completely different, better playability. Steel quality for springs in my are bag is very good. So far I really used 2 springs from the pack (1 lost during guitar maintenance, 1 still in the guitar).

Simple but effective
DESER90 09.11.2020
Ordered these for a MIM Stratocaster. It's a simple thing that does what it claims to do: tightening the trem bar so it's not loose. MIM Strats do not come with springs.

Does what it should!
AGuitarPlayer 29.02.2020
It's a good product that efficiently solves the problem of the loose tremolo arm! They should be included with every Fender Strat with tremolo IMO, that would be the least they can do since they don't want to update their archaic tremolo arm design.

Essential accessory for any trem arm
Andy Fereday 03.01.2024
I bought a pack of these for a couple of my guitars with loose tremolo (vibrato) arms. They were always either flopping around or at completely the wrong angle to use. These little springs are the perfect way to keep trem arms at exactly the right position, so they're not in the way but easy to access. I would say these are essential if you have a guitar with a tremolo arm.

Prefectly fit
Stesil 22.02.2024
The springs perfectly fit the Stratocaster American standard 2000-2008. Good resistance capable to stabilize the tremolo arm. Comfortable pack of 10 (Stratocaster owners know how easy is to lose the spring)

Works flawlessly
AlexMerk 13.05.2020
Pros:
+ I use it for one year on my Fender Stratocaster and didn't have any issues, it just works. The only thing I should mention - I don't use tremolo with some crazy amplitude that much , so my playing style is not a proper "stress test".

Cons:
- I can't imagine that I would use up all twelve of them one day. I'd rather buy 2-3 for a lower price. But I understand that it just doesn't make sense for Fender to pack and sell only few tiny springs in one plastic bag, so that's all right.
