For use on the small stage this is a great little amplifier. Super easy to set up and use. The cable to your monitor output on your mixer can be annoying. I have only used it with the 9 volt battery as I want to avoid the use of another cable running down from my side. I would recommend the use of a rechargeable battery. Battery power gets used up pretty fast but on a full charge you will get a good long gig or two out of it. The belt holder (as with most belt holders on any product) in my opinion could be better.I found a weakness in the headphone socket and care is recomended when plugging in and out.In saying all that I still really like this product so much so that I purchased a second one.The price is acceptable.

J-
The perfect beltpack for static musicians
Jo - Belgium 03.07.2018
I use this product for several years now and it works perfect. As a drummer the beltpack is ideal to enjoy the quality of a stereo-sound without having a mixing desk beside you. This compact BP let's you control the volume and panning but can also mix 2 different input channels. I use this feature a lot in live situations when I want to control my SPD-SX sound (backing track & click) & monitor channel. I would recommend an external adapter from Fisher Amps (connector-lock), so you have no risk on power outage. Since you're already wired up with 2 XLR cables, the power cable is negligible.

Solid sound, solid features

Although a fairly aged product, Fischer is still one of the top choices for those in need for a quality sound and built hardwired In Ear Monitoring. After testing a few wireless systems I ended up with this BP as the quality of sound and also trouble free signal chain were deciding factors.
Mixing options for two inputs, mono and stereo serve me well. Perhaps a microphone through could come handy in some situations, but otherwise I don't see any further requirements for my needs.
I am a singer and guitar player performing both sitting and standing up. When sitting down a plug my Shure ear plugs directly to Fischer BP, and when standing up and moving I use the Fischer Mini BP for volume control, which is more comfortable when attached to the belt.

A
Good for running basic in-ear monitoring
Anonymous 14.05.2016
I use the Fischer body pack on an almost weekly basis for gigs. It's easy to use and well constructed - I haven't had any problems with it in over a year of gigging. As a bassist I don't move around much on stage so I didn't want to buy a wireless system and the body pack provides a good alternative. I run an xlr cable from the mixing desk and clip the body pack onto my bass strap - I find this makes volume adjustments easier while playing and feels less intrusive than having the pack attached to my belt.

L
Very robust and sounds great
Lee3083 01.06.2015
This are great little units if you want to make a start with in-ear monitoring without the expense of wireless units. The ability to mix between two inputs on the front of the unit is great. The sound quality is good and there's plenty of volume even on a loud stage. They're very robust and will withstand abuse from the talent. Hard to find fault really.
