The interface on it's own is very decent and will do its job very well. The problems begin when you try to extend its capacity by connecting a mic preamp via dual ADAT in 96kHz (i.e. OctoPre). The logic circuit of this interface has a defect causing individual channels in the each stereo pair spontaneously change places. I know, it is weird and you cannot do anything about it! I tested two Scarlets from two different series and they behave in exactly the same way therefore I think they all are that way.
