It's a simple desk arm, longer than most, which I like since it makes it easy to switch between using my microphone seated and using it standing for singing.

It's light, and stays fairly well in place. The two gripes I have with it is the missing velcro ties or rails to hook XLR cables to, and the part of the arm that holds the microphone mount will always keep rotating, no matter how much you tighten it.

It's the best you're going to get for the price, but it's still a cheap stand. I'd still recommend it for the more budget-friendly options though.
