I am using the stylus with my Technics sl1200 mk2. I am not a scratch DJ or Artist, however, I needed such stylus for playback and monitoring the quality of some vinyl records. I set a weight of 1.7g on my tonearm, so if there is an issue with the grooves it will bounce off the record.
It is made by Ortofon and I think it is of the same quality, but a little bit cheaper. Sound quality is not bad for that price... I'd say it's pretty basic but it does the job and I think a starting DJ could have a good use out of it. Especially for that price...it's worth it if you are on the lookout for a cheap, ok sounding stylus. Audio purists and HIFI enthusiasts should probably look somewhere else. It does the job for me.
