Furman PL-8 CE

I purchased this unit because I already had Furman M-10X E. and I was thinking more money should give me better quality and better unit all together. But I was wrong. There is a noise that unit produces, and in my sound treated studio it is really noticeable. Somewhere around transformer there is buzz sound that you can hear, especially when you have your monitor headphones on and trying to record something. Yes it is possible to isolate that irritating sound and work on track in software or other solutions. But it doesn’t change the fact that buzz noise is still there and the unit is brand new. I send it to Thomann service but they sent me unit back saying that there is no problem and “no fault “ with unit. Avoid this if you have small studio. Better solution is Furman M-10X E. That unit does the job and it is much cheaper. I didn’t notice any better performance than more expensive PL8CE.
