Gator Deluxe Case SC-Style

I bought this case for a Hamer double cut away Archtop guitar as I was aware the Hamer is a very similar shape to a Les Paul Double Cut. As expected the case is a very close match to the Hamer's shape (not a perfect match) but fits well and I am more than happy with the way the guitar sits inside the case.
When I was considering which case to buy, I hadn't noticed that this case doesn't have 2 x neck cradles over the internal storage compartment. When I realised it just has one, I was concerned, but the case still manages to support the neck well.
The case is light and well covered in a 'Tolex' type black covering and the sturdy catches shut the case smoothly and without misalignment. The black interior of the case is well finished and should be hard wearing.
An important point for me is that the case seems to have a sturdy handle (only time will tell) and the case is perfectly balanced when loaded with the guitar. Some cases sit too low at the back when loaded, but this one is perfect. I also like the interior storage which is more than enough for a strap, tuner, capo, cloth and strings.
The price for this model was very low, £51.00 and as usual Thoman excelled on delivery time and communication. What more can you want.

I was in need of a hard shell case for my Les Paul-style electric guitar, because the old gigbag I had just wasn't coping with the strains of gigging and trips to and from rehearsals. I already had some specifications figured out: I wanted a molded case, not a rectangular one and I needed it to be black.

The Gator Deluxe case seemed to meet all my requirements, and I felt confident enough to order. At the arrival of the case I was then positively surprised by how well-made and sturdy the case felt. The plush liner on the inside is soft and cozy for your dear guitar to rest in. Now my guitar is well protected in my car, on the bus and even from my kids at home!
