Solid construction and holds the set position well. I use it with a PD-70 and there are no issues with it holding the weight of the microphone in the desired position. The added usb light is a bonus which I do not use but for those who like lights and flashy things its there for you. I'd probably use it if it could be controlled from an application/driver on the PC but the USB is for power only.

I've used many types of mic arms for podcasts, filming and recording. The separate control for the 'on air' light is a good solution to the complexity of the 5 pin / 3 pin dilemma of XLR options, you can swap out the XLR lead and embed it in the gutter that's nicely designed. Nice tight clamp and good strong tightening. See how it stands up over time but for now... I recommend.
