Sturdy case for the Ovation, used in on a flight both as cabin baggage and checked-in luggage. Is pretty big though but not so much considering the actual guitar

I bought this case for my Ovation 12 string guitar. It's the only reasonably priced case I could find that would fit this guitar, and whilst it's not top quality, not is certainly plenty good enough for general gig use.

Very similar to another Gator case that I bought a couple of years ago (for a Gretsch 5120 electric archtop), this one represents good value for money too.
Happy with the first case, I chose to buy a Gator again, this time to hold and protect an Ovation Celebrity CC-44S.
Its interior is well lined and generously padded, fits the Ovation very snugly and won't allow it move around inside. There is also an adequately sized items box inside to house picks, tuner, whatever. Handle is fine, hinges and latches all work smoothly. Visually the case looks well and is neatly finished.
I don't know that I would trust this case to (e.g.) airport handlers but I only play guitar for amusement. So this case needs only protect from domestic hazards.
All-in-all it's easy to get along with, works well, and is a good buy.
