Gator GW-JM LPS Journeyman

attention! i got this case for my Gibson Les Paul Junior Bass and not for a guitar as i was informed that this specific bass fits in a guitar case!
and yes my bass fits in PERFECTLY with its strap mounted! it fits in most single cut guitar cases at least 106cm interior length. so i got this one.

the case is perfect. it looks solid and protects the istrument.
the exterior is beautiful vintage colour and the blue interior also beautiful and soft. and matches with my satin blue bass.
the compartment is smaller than what it looks in the photo but i managed to store in a 9m coil cable, a tin can with picks and a tuner.
since i use it for this BASS model and not a lespaul guitar it leaves some space under the upper body to store more things like a strap or a cable and also leaves plenty of space under the headstock for strap or packet of strings.

the 4 locks have a soft feeling and lock very well. you can carry it on your hand easilly with your instument inside,its weight is normal and the handle comfortable. because of the dimensions its easy to carry, put it in your car or store it at home.

my only complain is that the compartment door looks like it has an issue on its left corner but thats a small problem and just happened to the case i received.

i would recommend this gator case or the brown/black versions to any single cut guitar or les paul junior bass guitar owner!

Just arrived, so I don't have a 'long-term use' opinion yet!

First up, it looks stunning! I wanted a great-looking case that stands out from the usual black options, and I think it will only look better once it gets a bit of dirt on it.

Sizing - I've got it for a Harley Benton SC-Custom. The case is large for this guitar, but I expected that because the guitar is smaller than a 'proper' Les Paul! Easily remedied by adding an old towel/shirt into the case to stop the guitar from moving around.

I dropped 1-star on quality - It seems that the case is sturdy but not bombproof. If you forced the hinges past their end, I think you would break or bend them. But, it's not a flight case... so providing you're careful, and keep the case closed when not in use, I don't see it being an issue.

I would have liked slightly more padding inside and out, but then it would be heavy (personally I'd be happy with that, but not everyone would want the weight).

For the money, I feel like this is going to be an awesome case to store my guitar and take it along to weekly blues jams in my city. It's not an expensive case, so I don't think it would be fair to be overly critical.

I'm satisfied with it for sure, and again, it looks amazing!
