Geipel Thumb Pick Bronze 5

I've always loved the sound that these metal finger and thumb picks give but always have a bit of a problem getting the right feel for them. These Giepel picks are considerably the easiest I've ever used, having tried the Dunlop steel and other plastic ones as well. I have two sizes in these Giepel, a 4 and a 5, and I think I prefer the smaller one, which really feels like its just part of my thumb. One thing I like about the metal ones is that you can bend them to make them fit your fingers a little bit. This adds to the comfort as well as ease of use.

I have been searching for this kind of thumb pick since I saw one, when I was a small child! At last!!
These fit the thumb perfectly (get the correct size!) and are angled so that the hand assumes the perfect position.
I did have to shorten the pick a tiny little bit, as I found it a touch too long - but it is wonderful!
When used correctly, it doesn't make a scratchy sound (I use mine on an acoustic guitar). It gives a clear, defined sound, without being tinny or scratchy.
I've bought about 6 more!

It is perfect for this price. I got it for a family member and she loved it. It will last for ages. It also makes a nice sound with strings, very clear and loud.

I have played with many thumb rings in my life but this is an absolute must have. Extremely comfortable and the sound is just amazing. Copper is good quality, doesn't bend at all.

I am by no means a fingerpicking expert and I got this to experiment but so far it's great. Be sure to check the sizing guide on the manufacturer's webpage. The ones I got fit perfectly on my thumb. I like the fact that they have a fine tip, good thing for articulation. Recommended

Bought a whole bunch of thumb picks trying to find the right one for me. The narrow picking end of this one is perfect and gives you a very precise picking ability flatter ones don't. Close your hand and it's like gripping a regular, but very sharp pick. The thickness of the bronze is just right for being bendable to adjust to your thumb size but not thin enough to start to move in use.

Great Pick and it is very comfortable to use. I bought size 3 before and it is very good to use but you need to choose the right size. Very good quality and the price is amazing. very cheep but very high quality indeed.

Not suitable for my style. Very pointy.
