I bought this for my main violin and haven't looked back. Some may look at it as a superfluous addition to a Violin kit, but I like it. It is small protection inside the case against possible little scratches from the bow or insides of the case. Its silk, it looks nice, feels nice and is a pleasant addition to my violin cases.

High quality cover but too big for a violin. Maybe it's designed for both violin and viola.
