The best bag for a TD30
Jonathan103 22.01.2016
Given the increased popularity of electronic drum kits for the working drummer, it is a little surprising how difficult it is to find cases for them.

I actually found this case on another (German) website, but I found that Thomann was a little cheaper and their delivery windows are very familiar for me.

That being said, Thomann managed to botch the delivery address (I checked out properly using PayPal, but Thomann seem to have combined my correct PalPal address with an old address they had on file for me). They were bizarrely unable to contact the courier (THEIR courier, after all!) themselves, so I had to do it once it hit the UK. Subsequently delivery took twice as long as normal, but it got to me eventually.

Anyway, on to the product itself!

This is very well made and seems ideally suited to my TD30SE. The (non adjustable) dividers cater for all the pads, cymbals and module. I actually prefer this method. In my last bag the dividers fixed to the side using velcro. I realise this is good for flexibility, but what actually happens is all the dividers fall off one-by-one - unless you re-attach them all every time you unload it.

The only gripe I can think of, is that the shoulder strap actually stops you from opening the bag fully. I don't suppose the shoulder strap is much use in practise (the bag is VERY heavy when fully loaded) but if it's important to you - you may struggle.

After a couple of years of usage it is now completely broken.
The space between the wheels and the body of the bag is too short and when carrying it over in not perfect surfaces it scratch on the ground, and as the material of the body in that place is not completely hard it just get broken every time more.
The zip get broken as well.
For that price I was expecting something much more durable
