GHS David Gilmour String Set F

String made from very high quality material. They last very long. Using them on my Stratocaster for years and still satisfied. In one pack there are good combination of string sizes. Great for bending and sliding.

as you expect, these are good quality GHS strings.
im allergic to nickel but didnt have any issues with these where i have with other nickel sets.

I have bought these several times and more than once I have tried that there was rust on them. Not the most recent ones, but so far the track record is not good. The play and sounds fine.

Basically, they're similar to GHS Boomers but in a custom gauge.

Just like most strings, you will need to rub them down with a clean cloth to keep them from degrading after playing. Definitely worth a try out, especially if you're getting free shipping from buying another item, just throw them in. They're good value.

I finally put them on a Strat as replacement for the factory 009-042. They are only slightly thicker on the higher strings and it takes just 20 minutes to get used to the slightly larger resistance in bending. For me, these are the strings to use if you like the neck pickup.

I thought these were good value but found that the plating on a number of parts of the high strings across all 4 sets had come off and it was worse on the 11s sets I bought alongside. Whether this is due to the lack of vacuum packs or production, its disconcerting. The only good things I can say is that they feel good under the fingers otherwise and the string gauges are well thought out.

My stratocaster really never sounded that good. These strings are well-balanced and have a great transparent tone to my taste. I love it both with clean and overdriven sounds. They also feel very nice, are pretty long-lasting and are have such a good price tag!

Lovely set of strings, gives you the gauges that David would of used. I really like how the Low E string has a thicker gauge than your regular 10's, feels nice if you prefer a bit of a challenge when playing tricky chords and bending. Would recommend to others, I have been using these strings now for a year.
