I have bought these several times and more than once I have tried that there was rust on them. Not the most recent ones, but so far the track record is not good. The play and sounds fine.

Good!
GiovanniD 09.10.2014
Good sound (not that different from other GHS sets....). I sugegst you also the gilmour G set, which is a little bit more interesting for those players requiring at the same time a thick sound, and easy bends....
I love GHS strings in general, so you can't go wrong with this one too, and the price....it more that worth it. Well done GHS!!

Very good set
Pa828 07.08.2015
Personally it is my favorite strat string set. The sound is sparkling and deep at the same time and they sound amazing for a very long time.
I raccomend to buy other kind of strings if long term storage is the reason of your purchase on Thomann. But I usually add a couple of these sets on my orders.

Good strings at a great price

Great sounding strings, bright and chimey without being too brassy sounding. I would recommend these to anyone looking to try something different from GHS.

Good strings at a good price
Anonymous 18.09.2014
I was playing 9s-48s on a Strat and decided to give this strings a go for a heavier sound. I read somewhere that they are GHS boomers with custom gauges but nevertheless there is great sustain from them - definitely noticeable on the top three strings - (G,B,E). Your neck might need some adjustment to handle the heavier tension but definitely worth a try if you want to explore some Gilmour-style playing. Gauges are .10 .12 .16 .28 .38 .48

GHS David Gilmour Strings Review
João P. 25.01.2014
They are just GHS Boomers in a custom guage I think, but a well balanced and nice sounding set. I tried them and liked them. If you're looking for a good set of strings with a very good price, these GHS David Gilmour string is the best option.
